Disney confirmed to PEOPLE that the “Wrecking Ball” singer has a secret role in the sequel. The new Marvel film, in theaters May 5, will feature the character Mainframe — an evolved technology that’s an alternative version of Vision in the comics — which Cyrus voices.
The news was first tweeted out by bloggers who were at a press junket for the film on Thursday. “Fun fact from the @JamesGunn @Kevfeige interview happening now! @MileyCyrus is the voice of Mainframe. #GotGVol2Event #GotGVol2.”

In a recent interview with The Huffington Post, Dave Bautista, who plays Drax, also said Cyrus played a role in the film. “I heard that she’s uncredited and a voice somewhere.”
Marvel president Kevin Feige and director James Gunn initially teased reporters at Thursday’s press conference about the identity of the character.

Feige asked Gunn, “Have you told anyone who Mainframe is?” to which Gunn responded, “I haven’t told anyone, yeah. Should we?”
As the audience laughed, Gunn backtracked and said, “Oh, I think I actually did. I blew it. I told one person.”
“It’ll get out,” Feige said.
Looks like it officially did.
